75GXP Serial No.
As part of the claims verification process, potential Class Members will be required to provide serial numbers for their IBM 75 GXP Hard Disk Drives (“Disk Drives”). These unique numbers will identify whether or not the claimed Disk Drive is an eligible Disk Drive.
The Disk Drive serial number can be identified by running a utility program on your Windows-based computer (the “Utility”). In order to run the Utility, the user needs to download an application. The Utility can be accessed by clicking on the link: HDDSerialNumberUtility.
Alternatively, the Disk Drive serial number can be found by reading the label attached to the Disk Drive. In some cases, the serial number is on a separate label attached to the end side of the Disk Drive.
The serial number may contain any combination of alphabetic characters and numbers with a length varying from 8 to a maximum of 14 characters. In most cases, the label identifier “S/N:” precedes the serial number.
